PPRA PARTNERS WITH HUDUMA KENYA TO NATIONWIDE ROLLOUT PROCUREMENT SERVICES

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has partnered with Huduma Kenya to decentralize public procurement services across all counties. Confirmed during a high-level consultative meeting at the Huduma Kenya Secretariat, this initiative integrates regulatory operations into the extensive network of Huduma Centres. By providing local, hands-on assistance for digital platforms like the e-GP portal, the partnership eliminates geographical barriers and directly addresses stakeholder demands for better rural outreach, local training, and reduced transaction costs.

This strategic rollout aims to boost transparency, strengthen legal compliance, and minimize corruption by limiting exploitation from unauthorized middlemen. By bringing critical technical support to the grassroots level, the partnership bridges the inclusion gap for marginalized business groups, including youth, women, and persons with disabilities.

Moving forward, the alignment between PPRA’s oversight and Huduma Kenya’s delivery infrastructure will serve as a foundational pillar for accessible and accountable governance in public finance.
