PUBLIC PARTCIPATION NOTICE: COMPLAINTS AND INVESTIGATIONS FRAMEWORK

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is mandated under Section 9(1)(h) of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, CAP 412C to investigate and act on complaints regarding procurement and asset disposal proceedings. This mandate applies to complaints from procuring entities, tenderers, contractors, or members of the public that are not subject to administrative review.
To ensure the efficacy and timely handling of these matters, the Authority has developed The Complaints and Investigations Framework, which is available for review below:

 

This framework provides a comprehensive roadmap for addressing complaints and undertaking investigations within the public procurement and asset disposal system.
In line with the provisions of Article 10 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, regarding National Values and Principles of Governance, the Authority hereby invites all stakeholders including, suppliers and contractors, Members of the public, Public Institutions and professional associations, and other interested parties to review the Framework, and provide comments and input.
The written views and comments should be captured in the Inputs and Comments Submission Form available in the downloads section of the PPRA website and can also be downloaded below:
