The East Africa Public Procurement Forum (EAPF) 2023

 

The East Africa Public Procurement Forum (EAPF) is a meeting of EAC public procurement regulatory bodies which convenes each year. Since 2008, about 250 participants from Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda have met to deliberate on topical and emergent issues in public procurement in the region.

The forum draws participants from the public sector, private sector, professional organizations, development partners, civil society and training institutions; among others. The objective of the annual forum is to increase interaction and knowledge sharing between different actors in public procurement in the East African Community and to give stakeholders an opportunity to communicate their concerns and efforts towards improving and harmonizing the public procurement landscape in the region.

This year, the Forum themed “Open Contracting as a vehicle for sustainable development “will take place on 23-26 March 2023 at the Kalolo Independence Grounds, Kampala, Uganda.
