PPRA Ramps Up Training as Kenya Automates Government Procurement

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has announced a 4-day training workshop titled “Understanding the Public Procurement Legal Framework in the Digital Environment”.

The session prepares public officials and suppliers for Kenya’s shift to the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) platform. By moving bidding, evaluations, and awards entirely online, the system enforces compliance with the Public Procurement Act, curbs fraud, and boosts transparency across public spending.
